The TCA was formed in 2006 as a non-profit civic group to promote community spirit, the beauty and history of Towaco.

Here are a few of our accomplishments:
Raised funds for the landscaping and creation of the gazebo at Camp Dawson in 2009-2012
Purchased speakers for the downtown area, providing music year round
Initiated Decorative Street Sign Project
Purchased holiday decorations for the downtown area
Initiated the purchase of the Towaco clock tower
We order hundreds of daffodil bulbs that we have planted annually, choose two winners each year for scholarships, decorate the town for the holidays in November, and host four Adopt-A-Road cleanups every year. We organized town events like the Towacofest, the ShopHop and a new one being planned for 2025.
